How to care for your Snooza bed...

We're often asked how long our beds will last - tough question! We tend to use the example of comparing a t-shirt worn by a bricky's labourer to a t-shirt worn by an office worker underneath a shirt - totally different situations (& totally different life-spans). However, with the proper care you should be able to get the maximum life from your Snooza product.

All of our beds come with a washing label sewn into the product.  As a general rule all of our products are fully washable however, for exact instructions please see below or phone us for further details.

Most beds are designed to fit into a normal washing machine – but it is dependant upon the size & type of your machine. We have found that as the products get bigger they're more suited to a laundrette’s ‘doona washing machine’ & that overall, front loaders are kinder.

Pet Futon

Cover:
Cream (green print) - Gentle machine wash 30c. Do not bleach. Cool tumble dry. Warm iron. Do not dry clean.

Green (cream print) - As the print on these covers is a paste rather than a dye, they require a little extra care & some loss of paste may occur in the first couple of washes. Please wash on a cold cycle only. Do not rub print.

Inner: Our Futon inner is a wool blend product so please treat it as such. Air in the sun regularly. Remove the cover to gentle machine wash on a wool cycle only. Cool tumble dry or line dry.

Soft Beds, Cushions & Out 'n' About

Warm machine wash 40c. Do not bleach. Cool tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

Please be aware that with some of our products, only the cover is suitable for machine washing (our Ottoman for example). Our Hidey Hole, because of the boning used in its construction, is only suitable for hand washing.

Raised Beds

Flea-Free Dog Bed & Fleaproofer:
Remove the cover. Wash with a mix of 1/4 cup bleach, 1/4 cup of mild detergent & 4 litres of water. Do not use solvent based cleaners. Line dry only.

Original Dog Bed & Super Deluxe Dog Bed:
Simply hose down the cover. A mixture of detergent & water (as above) can be used if required (please make sure to rinse thoroughly). Dry in the sun.

Durobed

Remove the cover. Wash with a mix of 1/4 cup bleach, 1/4 cup of mild detergent & 4 litres of water. Do not use solvent based cleaners. Line dry only.

D1000 Bed

Cover: Warm machine wash 40c. Do not bleach. Cool tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

Inner: Air regularly. To wash cover: remove filling, warm machine wash 40c. Do not bleach. Cool tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

Hidey Hole

Warm hand wash. Cool rinse. Cool tumble dry. Do not iron.

Magnomat & Big Dog Bed

Cover: Warm machine wash 40c. Do not bleach. Cool tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

Inner: Sponge clean only. Do not wash. Do not dry clean. Do not iron. Do not tumble dry.

Stay Dry Mat

Warm machine wash 40c. Cool rinse. Short spin only. Do not rub or ring. Do not iron. Do not bleach.
